The festival, organized by producer Matheus Vieira, positions Ribeirão Preto as a window for international visibility for Brazilian films, with a focus on the trajectories of the interior and its connections to other regions. The program includes screenings, discussions, and training activities, organized to facilitate meetings between directors, producers, distributors, and programmers, and to encourage the circulation of films and the development of audiences.

The “Traveling Film Festival—Memory and Identity” is an audiovisual training program designed to develop theoretical and practical knowledge of narrative and filmmaking, aimed at adolescents and young adults. Through workshops on memory and identity, production, cinematography, scene direction, acting for the camera, sound recording, and screenwriting—as well as screenings of feature-length and short films and meetings with filmmakers in the field—the festival will culminate in a culminating workshop where short films will be produced and screened at the closing session.
