Matheus José Vieira is a Brazilian filmmaker, screenwriter and audiovisual researcher. He directs fiction and documentary projects for cinema, television, streaming platforms and branded campaigns.
He holds a degree in Audiovisual Production and is currently pursuing a Master's in Image and Sound at UFSCar. His academic focus intersects creative lighting, cinematographic language, and the development of visual narratives.
Matheus has also studied Cinematography, Production Design, and Visual Effects in Brazil, Australia and the UK. He is a member of the Brazilian Association of Cinematography (ABC) and the São Paulo Association of Filmmakers (APACI).
His portfolio includes award-winning films and original series selected in festivals in Brazil, Latin America, Europe and the US. He is based in Brazil and available for international collaborations.
